My Beauty Favourites of 2013!

Hello there m'lovelies!
I hope you've had a fantastic Christmas!
I'm really sorry I haven't blogged for around a few billion years.
School sucked my life away and replace it with work and revision and assessments and exams and oh my am I so glad I'm back!
Today I wanted to sum up my beauty favourites of 2013!
I can't believe this year is nearly already over. What's happened? Maybe it's going quickly because I'm getting older? I have no idea! But I hope you all have a fantastic new year!
Now... Enough rambling and into what I had in min for this post... My beauty favourites of 2013.

Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Blonde and Mac Matte Powder Blush in Melba...

These two MAC products weren't in the big main picture because quite honestly I couldn't fit them in but I have enjoyed them so much this year I thought I would give them a special picture on their own.
Firstly, the MAC MSF in Blonde is a limited edition product but you may be able to get it in a relaunch as MAC do that a lot. This product has been used so much this year! It gives a lovely radiant glow to the cheeks. I use the lightest colour as a highlight, it gives a lovely natural glow because it's not white, it's a pale pink.  You can use the highlight very lightly with a big fluffy brush or define it more with a smaller denser brush, I use Real Techniques Contour Brush. I use all the colours mixed together or the individual last ones as a blush, but not on the apple of the cheeks because it looks waaaaay to shiny for my liking!
The MAC Matte Powder Blush in Melba is my all time favourite blush! It's so soft and blendable and if you use it with the right brush you can get a light flush of colour or build up the colour to your desired intensity. It gives a lovely natural but of colour to the cheeks and because it is a peachy colour it gives your skin that bronzed kind of colour.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo on 05- Eternal Gold...

I absolutely love the Maybelline Colour Tattoos. Simple. I just cant get enough of them. You can use them as a base or on its own. You can use it with a brush or fingers. They are just so versatile and easy to use. They can be used for so many things. I use this gold colour all the time, I sometimes like to use it with my Naked Palette. I have a few other colours of the Colour Tattoos, I use them all the time.

MUA 3 in 1 eXtreme Contour Liner...

This is my favourite high street eyeliner. It is so black, if you get me. It can be smudged into your outer v to create a smokey look, it can be used on your water/tight line and you can also use it to create a winged look. All of this can be done because of the shape of the liner, as you can see above. The shape allows you to create a thin or thick line.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 720- Notting Hill Nude and Burt's Bees Nourishing Lip Balm with Mango Butter...

Firstly, the Rimmel Lipstick is probably my most used when I bought it. It is a nice nude colour that doesn't wash your face colour out. I wear this colour to school as it is a nice and natural colour. I love the finish, it has a nice satin finish with a soft texture. It's really nice. I also love the packaging! Such a nice colour!
The Burt's Bees little lip balm you see on the right is just delightful. It is so nourishing and gives my lips a lovely natural, healthy shine. It also has mango butter in it so it smells and tastes great! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with dry lips that needs an intense moisture boost. It's also great to but on to keep your lips looking great and healthy.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in 010 Light Porcelain...

This foundation is probably the best foundation I have found so far. I have tried high street and high end brands. The foundation has a fantastic colour range which means I found a foundation light enough! It has a great, light weight consistency. It has a kind of dewy finish I suppose you could say and it just gives the skin a lovely glow. I would say the coverage is quite buildable. I like to apply it with a buffing brush or stippling brush depending on the coverage I want. I do have to powder this foundation on my t-zone as it is quite oily. The foundation has and SPF of 18 which is great! Although I do use an SPF moisturiser because I have a skin condition that is sensitive to light. This foundation is great and I have nearly finished it... This will probably be the only palette that I repurchase.

This nail polish is one of the few polishes I have that go on so nicely and dries really quickly! The polish lasts forever! The colour is a really nice neutral colour that I wear when I don't know what colour nail polish colour to wear. The brush is fantastic it's angled so you can touch up the polish if it's chipped. I really like this nail polish and I own it in different colours and I just love the formula.

Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream...

This night cream has really helped my skin improve it's appearance. It's a lot brighter and more radiant. As my skin is really dry and can be eczema prone I really need something very moisturising, this totally does it for me! It's so good. It really has started to help the dryness of my skin. I have actually repurchased this product because I like it so much!

I use this palette for everything. I used it for prom, which was ages ago, and special events and everyday looks and just everything. I just, wow, it's my favourite neutral palette of all times. My favourite colour is probably Smog, I don't know why but I love it. The shadows are so soft and so pigmented and they can just make so many different looks. It was totally worth the money. This palette is probably my favourite out of all the Naked Palettes and it suits me the most.
So finally! There it is! My beauty favourites of this year!
I hope you enjoyed this post!
Leave a comment and tell me what beauty products you have enjoyed this year and what blog posts you would like to see!
Thank you for reading and I hope you're having a good day!

Tag¦ Confessions of a Beauty Blogger

Hi m'lovelies!

A few day ago I had a tweet from Sinead- Dreaming Again saying that I was tagged in a recent post. So here I am now answering the questions.
I love doing tag posts so I'll just get right into it!

The questions!

1. How many hours a week do you spend writing / editing posts?

This all depends on how much work I have to do as I'm a full time student in sixth form. I wish it was different because I love blogging! But anytime I'm free I try to at least get some photos of stuff to talk about!

2. Are you a spender or saver?

It depends... Like right now I'm saving because I'm going to the NEC Clothes Show *yay* I only buy if I need it... although I wouldn't have been able to say that a few months ago... I have learnt my lesson xD

3. When is it easier for you to blog?

Weekend mornings! Or sometimes if I haven't got a lot to do I will blog at school in my study periods... *bad girl*

4. What makes writing behind a computer comfortable for you?

I'm not sure whether I will be answering this question properly but here we go. If we're talking actually when I'm blogging and being comfortable... that would be sitting on my bed while listening to some music or watching YouTube videos. If I'm going to be honest right now I'm watching funny cat videos... *haha*

5. What is your worst make up / hair habit?

My worst makeup habit would have to be... Well I stay back at school late some nights and sometimes use wipes to take my make up off but!!! I always cleanse properly in the morning!
My worst hair habit would be... When I can't control it I just shove it up in a bun... My hair is just too much to handle!

6. What is one quote you wish the world lived by?

There's a few to be honest...
Let go of the bad memories and remember the good ones.
Love your neighbour as yourself.
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.
There's loads but the most important thing to me is not to let others get you down, if you have a friend that is contently upsetting you or making you angry forget them. Don't let people treat you wrongly, everyone is unique and we should celebrate that.

7. How long do you spend getting ready every day?

Ooooo. Hard question it depends where I'm going, am I in the mood and whether or not I know what I'm wearing and things. Probably 30 mins to an hour unless I have completely failed! It also depends what my hair is doing with itself.

8. Who's your favourite blogger?

There's too many to choose from! I haven't got a one absolute favourite, I have a few! I like blogs that are jam packed with pictures that are well taken.

9. Who is a blogger that you think deserves more subscribers than they have?

Ummm... there's loads! All the bloggers I follow whether they have a lot of followers or not deserve more! If you look at this post you can see a few listed there!

10. What is one thing you are excited about in the upcoming year?

Being able to do well in my subjects at sixth form. Another one is probably going to The Clothes Show next month!

11. What is you most awkward blogging moment?

Probably my first blog post... but that's gone now xD

12. How long does it take you to prepare a post?

Depends, tags are the quickest for me 30-45 mins, my small post like wish lists they don't take long either. But the ones I take load of photos and things! Ages!

13. Are you wearing trousers right now or jogging pants / PJ bottoms?

I am! Comfort is what I'm going for today... It's Sunday! Leggings it is!

14. What are you most proud of in life?

Probably some recent things. They are more personal but I'm glad I'm back at sixth form and it may sound silly but getting praise from my teachers. Shout out to my subject teachers, especially my Maths and Chemistry teacher... Jokes. They won't read this but they actually care about their students.

So there we go! I hope you enjoyed that blog post!
I will now tag 4 other bloggers to do this

Current wishlist!

Hello m'lovelies!

A post has been due for ages! Sorry there hasn't been anything! I've had a busy few weeks but I'm back into the swing of things, blog post ideas are accumulating so I shall be posting more! *yay* If you have any suggestions please leave them below.

Today's post is a wishlist. These products are things that I've been staring at and wishing they were sitting right here with me.

Soap & Glory- The Breakfast Scrub
This body scrub is one of the nicest I've ever used! It smells like those pecan pastries... but that's just me. I've ran out and so I really want to repurchase this! It exfoliates nicely and it isn't harsh!

Illamasqua- Nail Varnish in Perseid
The nail polish is the best polish I think I have ever seen! Look at it! It's like a galaxy! This nail polish satisfies my geeky science and space passion. Oh it looks so good! Maybe a Christmas present? Ha ha, jokes... it's too early to be thinking about that!

Lush- The Comforter Bubble Bar
A nice soothing bath is always needed when the stresses of life overwhelm you... also known as sixth form. I've had this bubble bar before and it just smells so good! I'm also looking forward to buying some things from the Lush Christmas goodies!

Lady Gaga- Fame Perfume
I was in Boots and I was sniffing loads of perfumes... I came across this and it's actually really nice! I think I will have to wait till Christmas though... ha ha!

I hope you enjoyed this post!
What do you think of these products?

REVIEW ¦ Lush's Breath Of Fresh Air Toner Water

I'm just going to get straight into this review because I have a lot to say. I have a few secrets and tips for this product that are now not going to be secrets because you will know... But shhh! Only we will know!

This mighty fine bottle contains a magical liquid. It has honestly really improved my skin. I used to have a small 100g bottle which cost £3.95 but then after the product running out I bought a big bottle which was 250g at £7.50.

This has honestly created my love for foundation! I can not, I repeat, can not use foundation without the little life saver. I spray it on before I've applied a moisturiser and primer then I spray a little on my beauty blender or spray it directly onto my face and then dab it with a beauty blender after my foundation and concealer. It creates a lovely dewy glow! If you put on too much foundation or blusher you can dab the toner on with a beauty blender and vola! You have a natural glowing look! I just love this thing... I want to marry it... Joking... But really, it's truly amazing!

I would recommend this toner to anyone with dry skin. It really does moisturise and soften the skin. I really enjoy using this product, it has really benefited my skin and also my makeup application. To be honest I just love all of Lush's products! I've never had a bad experience with them.

Tell me...
What are you favourite Lush products?
What would you like to try?

Thanks for reading my post!
Type to you soon :D

L'Occitane Haul

Hi there! So I have a haul post for you! I was is L'Occitane ages ago but I've only been able to post now. I've been really ill and in and out of hospital so I haven't had a chance to post anything. Sorry about that.

This is probably the first time I've had a proper look in L'Occitane, I went to the Solihull branch. I have never had such good customer service, ever! I was served by the manager of the shop, she was really informative and helped me pick out the products that suited my skin type. I now absolutely love this company! I'll be defiantly buying more!

I went into L'Occitane because I wanted to find a hand cream that is really moisturising. I have really dry hands and they are covered in eczema.  I've tried medicated creams given to me by my GP and Dermatologist but nothing soothes them more then the L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream (http://uk.loccitane.com/l'occitane-shea-butter-hand-cream,83,1,29776,271739.htm) I bought the big size which was 150ml priced at £19, you can also buy a smaller version, 30ml, at £8. I love this cream! As I have severe eczema sometimes it can be bleeding and cracked, this soothes it and it doesn't even sting when applied!

For all my lotions and potions I was sucked in by a little key called the Magic Key- Tube Squeezer (http://uk.loccitane.com/magic-key-tube-squeezer,83,1,29776,269984.htm). It helps get the last bit out of your product out of its tube! You just slide it on and twist it. It comes in a protective case to keep it safe and free from scratches! The key was priced at £5 which I thought was a great price!

The next thing that caught my eye as I was paying was perfume! It's a roll on! It's called Pivoine Flora Eau de Toilette Roll-on (http://uk.loccitane.com/pivoine-flora-eau-de-toilette-roll-on,83,1,29879,272222.htm), it was priced at £14.50 for 10ml. It smells like you're going through a field of roses... I'm dreaming there, but really, it smells amazing!

As I bought all of that the lady that served me gave me a heap tonne of samples! Then as I got to the till I was given a Ultra Rich Shower Cream (http://uk.loccitane.com/ultra-rich-shower-cream,83,1,30009,270336.htm) for free! It was supposed to be £13! This shower gel smells amazing! It contains 5% shea which is good for my dry eczema prone skin!

I am now a TRUE fan of L'Occitane! Things can be a bit pricey and it's not like I'm a millionaire! The things I got were really worth it, especially the hand cream! I put loads on at night time with some gloves, looking all cool and trendy, joke, I look hilarious but I take those gloves off, everything has been absorbed and my hands are soft and the eczema calms down! I love it!

I hope you enjoyed this post! As I said, really sorry I haven't posted for a while. I also want to say a HUGE hello to all my new and old followers! I get so excited when you follow, comment and follow me on Twitter (@DemandBeauty). Thank you!

See you soon m'lovlies!

Have you lovely lot tried some products from L'Occitane, if you haven't, would you like to? What would you like to try?

Topshop Jewellery Haul

Hi everyone!
After going to see Monsters University with my brother, yesterday, we went shopping for a while. I had a voucher for Topshop so I went in to take a look to see what I could find. I spotted the jewellery sale section so I bought a few pieces.

Earring Set- £6.50 £2.50

I firstly picked up this pack of studs. I love the colours and girly vibe they give. They were really cheap too! One of the earring backs were broke but I will replace it with spares I have. I was really happy with these!

Gold Two Chain Peace Necklace- £7.50 £3.50

I then found this necklace which I already have in silver. I wear it so much but I always thought it would be nice in gold too, when I found this I just had to pick it up! It's really nice quality!

Silver Spike Necklace- £3.50

I really like these kind of necklaces! I can't wait to wear them when I go back to sixth form, I think it would really make an outfit look more professional looking and it will just top any outfit off! I instantly fell in love with it! I'm not sure how much it was originally as there was no barcode sticker at the back of it. I had to check this necklace because the chain was very delicate and the chain was twisted in some places. I think this looks like a really expensive piece! I love it!

Have you bought anything in the summer sales?
What were your favourite purchases?

Thanks for reading, follow if you enjoyed!

Nail Polish Haul

Hi m'lovlies!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't really been sure on what to do! I thought I'd do this post as I bought a few nail polishes! Lately, I have been really inspired by nail tutorials from blogs, YouTube and magazines. I have seen that the trend of the neon and pastel nails have made a comeback for this summer so I went out looking for a nice pastel mint shade, I then remembered that Boots now stock Sinful Colors *yipppppeee* (US brand so that's why the spelling is different), I was excited to go and have a look at all of their colours! I bought more then I intended to buy but I know I'll use them loads!

These are the polishes I got my hands on!
Below is what I think of them all...

Sinful Colors- 24/7 (920) (http://www.boots.com/en/SinfulColors-Matte-Nail-Enamel_1321277/)
I'd say this colour is defiantly a fluorescent pink! I have been looking for pinks that are really bright recently, I found 24/7, I've been sucked in to the whole neon trend. When I saw these nail polishes in Boots for only £1.99 I thought I'd give them a go. From what I can see, and I have checked the bottle over and over again, there is NO indication of the nail polish being matte! I was a little annoyed but I worked with it and I've learnt to love it again. It was good at applying to the nail as long as you were quick with it. You could use a top coat to make the finish nice and shiny so it's not a big deal that it's matte. You could probably get away with one coat if you were super quick at applying but I used two-three coats.

Sinful Colors- Be Happy 982 (http://www.boots.com/en/SinfulColors-Cream-Nail-Enamel_1321285/)
I have been looking for a perfect solid mint coloured nail polish, when I say solid I mean no shimmer or glitter or any of that good stuff. I found Be Happy it looks wonderful! It is so great to apply, nice and creamy, it gives a really lovely shiny flawless finish! I needed around two coats to get it perfect and opaque. It's really pigmented and you could get away with one coat if you were in a rush. I'm really happy with this product! It's the perfect mint colour to suit my colouring.

Bourjois- 15
I really love this colour, it's classic and it can go with anything! It has a tiny bit of shimmer to it but nothing too noticeable, it just gives the colour a lovely shine. The brush in fantastic! The polish glides on to the nail in two strokes. It says that the polish lasts for 10 day but if I'm going to be honest I get bored with the same colour, I'm not really sure about the lasting power but I have tried another of the colours in this range and it's lasted way longer then any of my other nail polishes.

Bourjois- 14
The colour I chose, 14, is a light pink, nude kind of colour. It's nice and adds a lovley subtle colour to the nails, I see myself using this for when I go back to sixth form. It has a subtle shimmer to it, for me it's a great nude, great for formal occasions, work, whatever you feel! It has the great small angled brush that gives a fantastic application, I don't have to clean up the edges or anything!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for stopping by and reading! If you enjoyed it be sure to subscribe for more ;D
(A little promotion can't go to waste)

Question...
What nail polishes have you liked recently?
What are your favourites?

NOTD!

Hi m'lovlies! Hope you're all well.

I have recently been getting into painting my nails, I've also started to practice different patterns and ways to paint my nails.
Today I though I'd post my first NOTD (nails of the day) for you guys because I think it's quite fun to do these kinda posts!

As you can see the list of the nail polishes I used are above in order from left to right in the picture.
Anyway, I took a picture of my left hand because my right hand wasn't as good, so from that statement, yes, I am right handed!
I used a bottle lid as a mixing palette and used an artist brush I got in a mahooosive pack from Wilkinson (http://www.wilko.com/paints-and-painting/wilko-25-artist-brushes/invt/0300146). This design took me ages and it's really tedious but well worth it! You could do this with so many colours and it's fun if you have loads of time on your hands!

I hope you enjoyed this mini post. Tell me what you think and if you have any questions or comments leave them below.

See you soon!

Tag¦ 40 Beauty Questions

Today I thought I'd do a tag because I think they're quite fun and they make you realise what you actually do and don't like.
So here we go, 40 beauty questions!

SKINCARE -

How many times do you wash your face daily?

Twice, in the morning and before I go to bed.

What skin type do you have?
I have dry skin that can be sensitive to fruit acids. I also have an oily nose but it's bearable.

What is your current facial wash?

I like the Simple Facial Wash and I like the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

Do you exfoliate?
Yes! All the dead skin cells build up quickly and it doesn't look nice.

What brand do you use?
I really like Ocean Salt by Lush. It gets rid of everything and leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and soft.

What moisturiser do you use?

It depends how I feel and the state of my skin, if it's normal I will use The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream. If it's a little more oily then usual I can get a few spots so I will use the Simple Anti-Blemish Moisturiser, it's great for oil skin and acne prone skin. If my skin is quite dehydrated I will use the Simple Rich Moisturiser as it quickly puts the moisture back in my skin.

Do you have freckles?

Yes... I'm half Irish so what do you expect?

Do you use eye cream?
Well, it depends, I don't really because I don't think I need to. If I do I use the N-Spa Nourishing Eye & Lip Treatment. It's fantastic!

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
I had baby acne, now I only have a little break out here and there.

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
I'm not too sure, I was a baby...

MAKE-UP-

What foundation do you use?
At the moment I'm loving Rimmel Match Perfection, I normally mix it with my moisturiser. It's the only colour I have found that matches me properly.

How about concealer?
I don't always use it but when I do I use Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

Do you know your undertone colour?
I have a cool, neutral undertone.

What do you think of fake eye lashes?
I don't really like them but they look nice on other people. But to be honest the only time I wore them was at a fancy dress thing and they were feather eye lashes... I know, I know, don't kill me.

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

Yes!

What brand of mascara do you use?

Depends how I'm feeling, I like the NO7 ones and the Benefit They're Real Lashes.
Sephora or MAC?
The time I went to Sephora MAC was in there so surly I'd chose Sephora because nearly every brand is in there.

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No, I wonder if I can get one because of my blog, I do photography too! I'm just looking for excuses.

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes, I also like the Cosmopolitan Beauty Blender. My fingers. Urmm... Cotton Pads. I can't think!

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?

Yes. I like Painterly Paint Pot by MAC.

For the face?
Sometimes, I like the Smashbox ones.

What is your favourite eye shadow ?

WHY!? I like loads! I like a lot of the MAC ones that I bought lately in my previous post.

Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
It depends how I feel I like pencil to be honest, but it depends what I want my eyeliner to look like.

How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?

I don't do it often if I'm going to be honest.

What do you think of pigment eye shadows?
I'd say... Why not!? I love Beguile by Illamasqua!

Do you use mineral makeup?

Not really.

What is your favourite lipstick?

My favourite MAC lipstick would be Pink Plaid or Plumful.

How about lip gloss?

I don't really use it but I like MAC Boy Bait and I really like the MUA and Natural collection ones, they're just cheap and cheerful!

Do you buy your makeup on eBay?
No.

Do you like drugstore makeup?
YES! I think you can get great things from there!

Do you go to CCO's? (cosmetic company outlets)

Yes, but you don't always get thinks that you would want or like.

Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
Not really, I'm not too sure to be honest.

Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?

Yes... :(

Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Too much bronzer or blusher! Oh my life! And people buying the wrong shade of foundation.

Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?

I like a pop of colour on my eyes with a pinky nude lip.

Which celebrity always has great make up?
I love Demi Lovato's makeup!

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Mascara probably or a lip colour.

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes, I am who I am, if I look terrible without it who cares! It's how I was made.

Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Every person looks beautiful no matter whether they have makeup on or not.

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
I would choose MAC or Illamasqua!

What do you think of Makeup?

I think of it as an art, because it is. But I don't like it when young girls feel they have to wear it, because they don't.

Recent Purchases!

Yesterday I went to Birmingham to have a small shopping adventure! I had a Selfridges Gift Card so I kind of knew what I wanted to buy.
Anyway, I won't ramble on! Let's get started!

MAC Pro Palette (Single/Large) and Insert
I went to MAC and I also ordered some things online from Illamasqua. Firstly I defiantly knew I wanted to purchase the new MAC Palette, it's just wonderful! My old MAC palette broke, I wasn't really happy with it so I wanted to buy the new one and buy a few more eye shadows because I really like the pigmentation and overall quality of them.
Firstly I'll talk about my new palette! I purchased the Large/Single Pro Palette (http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/1556/22060/Products/Kit-Essentials/Pro-Palette/Pro-Palette-Large-Single/index.tmpl) and the insert (http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/1556/22062/Products/Kit-Essentials/Pro-Palette/Pro-Palette-Eye-Shadow-x15/index.tmpl). I think the palette is just great! It's really sleek looking. The see through window helps you to see what's inside. The insert is really nice and clips in easily but it is a little bit wobbly. I have fitted it in properly but then again I suppose it's easy to get out so it doesn't bother me that much. Overall I love the palette and I'm really glad I bought it!

MAC Eye Shadows

These are the four eye shadows I bought, (from left to right) Star Violet, Humid, Crystal and Trax. I really love them and I'm really happy with them.

MAC Pro Palette Eye Shadow in Star Violet

The first eye shadow to talk about is Star Violet. This HAS to be one of the nicest eye shadows I've ever come across. It's so shimmery and beautiful. MAC descries this colour as a pinky-plum brown, I agree, it's almost quite copper like. I really love this colour, you can do so much with it! You can use it for a subtle wash of colour or really pack it on for a nice smokey eye with a little brown blended in the outer corner into the crease.

MAC Pro Palette Eye Shadow in Humid

I have to yet use this colour but I can't wait. This colour really complements brown eyes. It' a forest green with a slight shimmer to it. It can be used in so many ways. I can't wait to try it!

MAC Pro Palette Eye Shadow in Crystal

This colour is really versatile, it has a hint of purple undertones, it can be used in the inner corner or all over the lid. It goes well with any eye shadow, especially the other three I bought. It has a lovely shimmer that shows a rainbow of colours!

MAC Pro Palette Eye Shadow in Trax

Trax is a purple with gold shimmer. MAC describes the colour as burgundy-plum with shimmer. I really love this colour! It would go with any eye colour and can be used in loads of ways, I can't wait to use it!

Illamaqua Nail Polishes in Kink and Bacterium

Kink is a forest green colour. The application seems go on smoothly, baring in mind I've only tried it on one nail. It's not very shiny but it gives a satin kind of finish. I like it!

Bacterium is just a wonderful colour! It is a two tone copper to silver colour. It looks amazing in the bottle and just as good on the nails. You can use it on its own or you can layer it over another colour.

Illamaqua Eye Shadow in Imagine

This eye shadow is a lovely periwinkle blue colour (as said on Illamasqua's website). It is so soft when swatched and surprisingly very VERY pigmented! It also smells really nice. I can't wait to try this colour, I'm thinking of a blue smoky eye or using it wet as an eyeliner!

 Illamaqua Lip Gloss in Succubus

I would describe this lip gloss as a liquid lipstick, it's so pigmented and soft. It can be a bit messy to apply and a little sticky but once it settles it feels lovely! The red colour is perfect! No orange undertones, just perfect.

Illamaqua Medium Pencil in Vow

This eye pencil is so soft and is easily applied! It is great in the water line as a natural looking eye brightener. It can also be used as a concealer, if you have fair skin it's the perfect colour!

I am so pleased with my purchases! I can't wait to try them all. I'd love it if you told me what you think of these products and how you like to use them!

See you later!
