The Lipstick Tag!

1. When you were a child, did you use your mother’s lipsticks?
I used to... I must admit. I used to love it but I would be so careful so I wouldn't brake it, I treated them like some kind of fragile or holy thing :P

2. How old were you when you bought your first lipstick?I didn't really buy lipsticks, only lip glosses.

3. Pink or red lipstick?Red! I love it! You can do so many things with a red lipstick, you can be daring or just a flush of colour ... just anything!

4. The most expensive lipstick you have ever bought?

Probably... Gosh, I can't think! Probably Natural Collection lipsticks! I actually love them :D

6. What’s the most bizarre thing you have ever done with a lipstick?

Used it as a blusher? Being silly and yeah, enough said :P

7. If you had to recommend a lipstick, which brand would you recommend and why?

Probably MAC, I do have YSL and Estée Lauder, I don't think you need an expensive lipstick, yes they are good quality but there is cheaper ones that can do nearly the same job!

5. And the cheapest?
MAC, fantastic colour range, amazing feel and pigmentation. It can be expensive though, another brand would be Revlon, much cheaper but as good quality as MAC, not as much of a selection though though they're still great.

Review Time : Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Candy Apple 035

When I found out that Revlon were bringing out lip butters I was really excited because I've wanted a nice quality one with a tint of colour for quite a while. I looked at reviews and went to the shop to buy one, I looked at the bright pinks but then when I saw the red colour, I knew I just had to have it. I took a look at the price and I was tempted to but it back down, it's really expensive for what it is. If it was a lipstick I would've payed the price but for a lip butter at £7.99, I just thought is was a little much. Anyway, I took the plunge and bought, I got a few point on my Boots Advantage Card so I could spend that on something else.

After getting it home I fell in love with it. The packaging, the feel and the colour. I was happy I got it in the end even if it was on the pricey side. The colour is so great and the pigmentation is surprisingly good for a lip butter while still being hydrating and moisturising leaving your lips as soft as a baby's bottom!
On the picture above you can see the product in different angles and the whole fancy look of the lip butter. On the top left of the picture you can see the product swatched, On the top swatch it was swatched a few times to build up the colour and the one below is swatched just once still leaving a great colour.

Overall... I love this product!
What are your thoughts? Comment below :D

A tag - Would you rather makeup edition!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Urmm, it's the first question and it's already a hard one. I would have to say lose my palettes and eyeshadows! I couldn't put eyeshadow on without mascara, for me it's just not right!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Chop it off! I couldn't deal with the split ends! You'll have an ombre affect when your hair starts to turn grey! Urghhh! Just no. Chop it all off!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral all the way!

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Makeup!!!

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick! I can go for the gothic look, why not!? I don't fancy having a red eye... do you?

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora! Of course! It's a bit of a cheat really because MAC is in there.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
One lip colour, your eye colour can completely change the feel of a look, if you stick a black lipstick on or deep plum lipstick on, you won't get anywhere with a neutral brown colour.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Urrr, HELLO! I live in England! I live in winter clothes 24/7... Winter clothes in summer please!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Brights. Brights. Brights.

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
For this one... favourite eye product.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun! It looks cool ;D

12.) Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I don't wear lip gloss a lot... I can just use a lipstick with a sheen. So I would never use lip gloss again.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I would NOT, I repeat NOT shave my eye brows ever! I am not 100 yet with no eyebrows! Give me the Sharpie pen, please!

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Nail polish... I have to have a pretty face ;D

No7 - Blush Tint Cream Blush - 10 Clove : Review

I bought this with the No7 £5 voucher I got when I bought some thing in Boots. I really wanted to try a cream blush for a long time so I decided to go with the blush tint in the No7 range.

I got the colour '10 - Clove' because I really liked the colour and when I swatched it on my hand it wasn't too dark and it matched nicely with my pale skin.
These blush tints are priced at £10 for 3g. They are quite pricey compared to other brands and compared to No7's cream blush which consists of 6g priced at £9. I found the blush tint to be more pigmented then the cream brush so I wasn't really bothered about this difference. With the blush tint being so pigmented you're going to get a lot of use out of the product anyway.

I really like this blush tint, it's really creamy and easy to apply. I found that it was best to apply the product straight onto my cheek and blend it out with my fingers, a stippling brush or a foundation brush. With this application I found the colour looked fresh and natural on the skin.

Overall I really like this product. It's a bit of a steep price tag but with the £5 voucher it's worth the spend. I would like to try some more colours as I really like the product and look it gave.

Hope you enjoyed reading!

Collection 2000 Lip Cream Review

Yes... Okay... The hype is now over for this product but I'm still loving it! It's a fantastic lip cream that dries matte looking soft. The product is avalible in 4 colours, the one above in the picture being Angel Delight, a nude brown colour. This amazing product is priced at only £2.99! Being a cheap product you can easily buy all four colours nowing your not going to break the bank like when you're buying matte lipsticks from higher-end brands.

I really love this product! I can't stop using it. You do only get a bit in the tube but you get what you pay for so I'm happy with the amount of product. I really love the finish of the product! Although there isn't a big colour range the colours are still really nice and they will suit any skin colour and tone.
I will definatly be re-purchasing this because I just love it!
